Acclaimed CARES® Online Dementia Care Training

Now Available in Australia

HealthCare Interactive in the United States (U.S.) is pleased to announce its work with the University of Queensland and New York University on a carer-related educational counselling program for families. This program is being piloted with Blue Care in QLD and Northern NSW and will then be rolled out nationally.

We are also pleased to announce that our online dementia care training programs for professional carers and family members are now available in Australia via the Internet.

Developed in the United States, our CARES products were created with actual family members, people living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease and dementia experts, and researchers over a 10-year period. Each was done in conjunction with the U.S. Administration on Aging as well as the U.S. Alzheimer's Association, the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research.

CARES has been acclaimed by families and professionals, is in use in over 20 countries around the world, has been recommended nationally by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and received the National 2012 Silver eHealthCare Leadership Award.
